Distressed property transactions can be some of the most challenging deals a real estate professional will face. As the name suggests, these situations often involve clients experiencing financial, legal, or personal hardship. In this course, you will learn how to successfully navigate these complex transactions while protecting yourself and your clients throughout the process.

While the number of distressed sales may rise and fall in the market, they are always present. Distressed properties extend beyond traditional foreclosures and short sales to include situations such as divorces, estate sales, and homes being sold when families need to transition a parent into assisted living. 

In this class, you will gain the knowledge and practical strategies needed to handle these sensitive transactions with confidence. You'll learn how to manage the unique challenges involved, work effectively with the parties involved, and increase the likelihood that your transactions close smoothly.
