Four (4) requirements to attain and use the ABR designation: 1. Completing the two-day Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) Designation Course. After completing the course, you will have three (3) years to meet the other ABR designation requirements. 2. Successful completion of one of the ABR elective courses. This course may be taken before completing the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) Designation Course. 3. Five (5) completed transactions in which the ABR candidate functioned as a buyer's representative (up to two leases). Any transactions closed before taking the ABR Designation Course or closed within three years after completing the course are eligible for credit. 4. Membership in good standing in the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) and the National Association of REALTORS. When you complete the designation course, you will officially become a REBAC member and an ABR candidate, unlocking access to REBAC benefits for one year at no cost to you. 5.
